Position: Embellishment Assistant

KEY Apparel is seeking a motivated person to join our Embellishment Team as an Embellishment Assistant. This position will entail working with embroidery, heat transfer and direct-to-garment embellishment equipment and processes and is responsible for embellishing uniforms, hats, outerwear, and other accessories. The Embellishment Assistant provides support to the sales and operations departments as necessary to meet company objectives.

The successful candidate should be professional and articulate, have positive energy, have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and must be able to effectively use independent judgement to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
Essential Responsibilities for Embellishment Assistants Include:

Must have or gain familiarity with all Key Apparel products and their construction to better understand embellishment opportunities and limitations;

Ability to adapt to a swiftly changing production environment;

Follow established processes and procedures, and have proven attention to detail;

Maintain a well-organized and clean personal work space, as well as shared work space;

Gain hands-on working knowledge of screen printing and embroidery;

Maintain accurate embroidery logs;

Communicate with facility manager to reorder materials and supplies as needed;
Pre-requisite Core Competencies:

Knowledge of computers

Capable of following established designs and specifications

Capable of lifting and handling elements that can weigh up to 50 pounds each;
