Great coveralls for smaller sized folks

Posted by Greg on Dec 14th 2023

I'm 5' 7" - 155lbs - 28" inseam, and these coveralls fit well. Shoulders, chest, and waist all fit great with plenty of room for layering beneath. The inseam is just loose enough, but is perfect for keeping the leg cuffs off the ground. For height and inseam, I think I'm probably the maximum size before needing to go to an adult Small-Short (which also fit, but was baggier and longer-legged so I went with the Youth XL). Plenty of insulation to stay warm, especially if you're moving around.

    Wonderful Product

Posted by Mandy Aubin on Dec 7th 2023

Let me start by saying that this is my 1st time writing a review EVER! For the last 2 years I have bought another brand of insulated coveralls from a well known feed store. I have never been happy with them because the arms are ridiculously short. After a quick online search we found Key Apparel. I was apprehensive to order from a company that I had never heard of before, but was pleasantly surprised! The online chat folks were helpful, the package shipped quickly, and the product is outstanding! Thank you! I will order from Key Apparel again!

    Youth insulated coveralls

    Posted by M on Nov 7th 2023

I have been looking for a replacement of my old Walls insulated youth coverall, it is so old and all of the insulation is pretty much gone, but I can't bear to part with it because it is so handy, comfortable and fits so well. Have looked for the past several years and what I was able to find all seemed to have very short legs.I am a little old lady (5'1"/120-125#) and these youth sized coveralls are great! I bought the XL, and they are a bit large for me, but I would rather have that, and not suffer with something too tight. Plus it gives me room for layers if needed, but I don't believe I will need them since this suit is so thick and warm. It is made of heavyweight material and feels like it will last forever. I can't wait for my next camping trip in the mountains!! Thank you for the great service, Key!

    Great for petite woman!

Posted by Jennifer on Mar 1st 2023

I looked all over for coveralls. They cannot be found for a woman, especially a petite 5ft one! I took a chance and ordered a youth XL. I maybe could have went with a large but figured that way I had room for layering. The only reason for not giving a 5 star review is the waist needs more elastic. I put additional in the waistband, not perfect but better. I do have to roll up a bit but that is the case with most items! I love being about to put it on, rather then bibs and then a coat. Super quick to head outside to feed the bottle calf and chickens. And the bonus is that my clothes stay clean if the dogs jump on me:)

I am a petite 65 yr old woman and this fits very well. I wear long underwear underneath and can work outside in near zero degrees comfortably!!!

    Youth Insulated Coveralls

Posted by Kelly on Dec 21st 2022

I am an adult female and am 5’ 2” tall and about 118 lbs. I first ordered the youth Large, I found it to be a bit too short in the legs and had a tough time getting it over my shoulders. So I returned it ( at my expense) and ordered an Extra Large. At first I thought it was way too large, but now that I am really using it more regularly, I appreciate these overalls. They are LARGER than the Large by quite a bit but they do make for easy movement and I wear these with boots so the leg length is manageable. I like the roominess and appreciate the quality! I gave it Four Stars because I would like to have a bit more elastic or a drawstring in the waist to help keep them up.

    Youth Insulated Coveralls Size Small

Posted by Sharon on Feb 23rd 2022

These coveralls are fabulous! My grandson is in between sizes & thought I'd take the chance on sizing up. They're a little bit big however it appears that we are going to get next year out of them as well. The fabric is heavy duty but still flexible, he's actually has more fun getting all mucked up! Love this one piece suit! Oh and the shipping time was super fast, all around great first time experience with Key Apparel. Thanks!

Youth Insulated Coveralls fit small adults too!

Posted by Heidi "The Kid" Landin on Feb 6th 2022

Since I am a small female adult (5' 4", 110lb), I often shop for garments in Youth dept. I selected these based on the size chart where I am between L & XL. Not wanting it to fit too tightly over my regular clothes, I chose the XL & found it to fit me a bit too large & an inch or 2 long in the legs...otherwise, it is great with a tough outer shell, durable stitching, warm insulation, and NO pinch points or binding. I am ordering a size L for me & keeping the XL which actually fits my husband who is also a small adult (5' 6", 150lb). I can hardly wait for size L's to come back in stock next season!

    Doing exactly what I wanted

Posted by Donna L Koonce on Dec 24th 2021

Haven't had a chance to do them any damage yet even though I have worn them every day. Please check back in 10 years cause that's how long my last pair lasted.
